In July 2021, the Vollmann Group added the company Westfalia Presstechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Crimmitschau (Saxony) to its group. This company, which is located at the heart of the automotive business park in Zwickau, is a specialist in stamping and forming technology with its press technology of up to 16,000 kN. At this production site, 200 employees manufacture metal structures for car body components as well as for the seating area on a production area of 15,800 sqm.

The Crimmitschau location expands the press capacity of our sites in the Ore Mountains, which are about 50 km away. With its high-performance presses in various tonnage sizes, this site supplies the Vollmann Group with high-strength steel as well as aluminium pressed parts for complex welded assemblies, among other things.
