Cookies

The Vollmann Group web site uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are created and stored on a computer system via an Internet browser.

The use of cookies allows the web sites and servers that are visited to distinguish the individual browser of the person concerned from others.

The Vollmann Group uses cookies to increase the user-friendliness of this web site and provide services that would not be possible without cookies.

For example, the user of a web site which uses cookies does not have to re-enter their access data every time they visit the web site, because this is carried out by the

web site and the cookie stored on the user’s computer system.

The setting of cookies for all websites can be prevented by changing the setting of the respective Internet browser.

Cookies which have already been set can be deleted again, but this may place restrictions on the functionality of the web site.

This is possible with all of the most popular Internet browsers.

Server log files

The web site provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:

Browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL,

host name of the accessing computer, time of server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of any specific indications of illegal use.

Google Maps

We use Google Maps from Google Inc. on our web site. Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland) is responsible for all Google services in Europe. Google Maps allows us to show you locations in a better way, and therefore adapt our service to your needs. By using Google Maps, data is transmitted to Google and stored on the servers. Among other things, this includes search terms that have been entered, your IP address and the latitude and longitude coordinates. If you use the route planner function, the entered start address is also saved. This data is saved on the Google Maps web site. We can only inform you about this, but have no influence on it. Since we have incorporated Google Maps into our site, Google sets at least one cookie (name: NID) in your browser. This cookie stores data about your user behaviour. Google mainly uses this data to optimize its own services and provide you with individual, personalized advertising.

Embedded social media elements

We integrate elements of social media services on our web site in order to display images, videos and texts.

When you visit pages displaying these elements, data is transferred from your browser to the respective social media service and stored there. We have no access to this data.

YouTube

YouTube is a video portal that has been a subsidiary of Google since 2006. The video portal is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland) is responsible for all data processing in Europe. When you visit a page with an embedded YouTube video, your browser automatically connects to the YouTube or YouTube servers.

Google. Different data is transmitted (depending on the settings). YouTube sets at least one cookie which stored your IP address and our URL. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can usually assign your interactions on our web site to your profile using cookies.

This includes data such as the duration of the session, bounce rate, approximate location, technical information such as browser type, screen resolution or your Internet provider. Other data may be contact details, any ratings, sharing of content via social media or adding to your favourites on YouTube.

If you are not signed into a Google account or a YouTube account, Google stores data with a unique identifier that is linked to your device, browser or app. For example, your preferred language setting is retained. However, a great deal of interaction data cannot be saved because fewer cookies have been set.

Instagram

Instagram functions have been used on our website. Instagram is a social media platform operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. Instagram has been a subsidiary of Facebook Inc. since 2012 and is a Facebook product. When you visit the Instagram page of our website, data is transmitted to Instagram, where it is stored and processed. Instagram uses the same systems and technologies as Facebook. Your data will therefore be processed across all Facebook companies.
